The following guidelines were followed for this project.

1. All movies should have a 30-second introduction by the movie making team.
2. All moveis should be a minimum of one minute in length and maximum of three minutes in length.
3. All movies need to answer the quesion, "Who/What inspires you?" Teams may use the movie to answer this question in any way that makes sense and clearly answers the question.
4. All movies need to have credits.
5. All movies need to follow copyright rules.
6. All movies shoudl be in a format which can be viewed in Quick Time or Windows Media Player.
7. All movies need to be submitted to BOCES on December 7, 2006.
8. All movies need to be categorized as either music video, documentary, or short fiction.
9. All movies need to include at least one example of use of titles, transitions, and visual effects.

Release Forms

Each student appearing in a film needed a parent or guardian signature in order to participate in this project. When giving permission, parents and guardians agreed to the following statement:

I hereby give permission to the Cattaraugus-Allegany BOCES or local media agents the right to photograph, videotape and audiotape and/or place the digital photographs, video, audio recorders, finished movie, into media presentations, including presentations on the Internet. I understand that at no time will the name(s) of student(s) appear in the finished project. In lieu of the students' names, first and middle initials or pseudonyms will be used in the credits.
